Mtn. View to sign new golf course super

The Mountain View Board of Aldermen met in special session Friday evening. After convening at 7:24 p.m., the aldermen withdrew into closed session at 7:26 p.m. Draft minutes of the meeting show city personnel present included: Carla Randolph, Ty Lewis, Officer McGee, Officer Roberts, Eddie Owens, and Shannon Elliott.
The reason for the closed session was RSMo 610.021 (3), “Hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting of particular employees.” No motions were made in the closed session. 
When the meeting returned to open session at 10:25 p.m., Alderman Murray Anderson made a motion to authorize the mayor to initiate an employment agreement for a golf course grounds superintendent pursuant to the closed session discussion. The motion passed unanimously.
