On Monday, July 4, the West Plains Ozark Spring, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution participated in the City of Willow Springs Independence Day parade to celebrate America’s history that goes back to the 18th century and the American Revolution.
According to www.history.com website, “on July 2, 1776, the Continental Congress voted in favor of independence from Great Britain. Two days later delegates from the 13 colonies adopted the Declaration of Independence, the historic document drafted by Thomas Jefferson.
