The Ozarks Small Business Incubator announced last week the four finalists selected to pitch during EPIC: Growing Beyond the Ozarks on May 7.
After advancing through two rounds of eliminations, the finalists will compete for cash and prizes, including up to $1,000, a website development scholarship, and more. The first-place prize package is valued at more than $3,000. Audience members will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite business in the People’s Choice Vote.
The finalists include: Logan Waggoner with Cedar Lane Co.—an e-commerce and editorial platform that connects consumers with locally made goods from Southern Missouri artisans, Amelia Protiva with BirthKind—a platform to connect birthing parents with qualified professionals, Joseph Dickens with JD Shoyu Co—a shoyu microbrewery, and Judy Hunter with Hunter HR Solutions—a human resources firm.
PitchFest is proudly sponsored by Simmons Bank. The public is invited to attend EPIC: Growing Beyond the Ozarks and cheer on these local entrepreneurs as they pitch their ideas and compete for support to grow their businesses.
