Roads reduced for ADA Sidewalk Improvements in Willow Springs

Business 63 and Route 137 in Willow Springs will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews construct sidewalks. 
Weather permitting, work on US Hwy 63 will take place today, Feb. 22 through Saturday, March 25 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. including weekends as necessary. Work will take place at the following locations in Willow Springs, Missouri:
- Pine Street to just south of Cherry Street
- Summit Street to Garfield Street.
Work on Route 137 will take place at the following locations in Willow Springs, Missouri:
- West Valley Street to the BNSF Railroad Bridge
- Walnut Street to 7th Street
The work zones will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area. This project is part of the Missouri Department of Transportation's initiative to bring roadway facilities into compliance with the current standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
