Roberts honored by City of Willow Springs

Dustin Roberts was honored by City of Willow Springs at the November meeting of the Board of Aldermen on Thursday, Nov. 21. Roberts has been employed by the city for six years. He will soon complete the journeyman lineman program through the Missouri Public Utility Alliance (MPUA). This has been a four-year program involving both hands-on training on the job for the city and testing in Columbia, Mo.

Electric Supervisor Nick Tooley was present to acknowledge Roberts’ accomplishment and the value he brings to the electric department.

“It’s been awesome,” Tooley said. “From day one coming in not knowing nothing to where you are today. You’ve been my right hand any time I needed you. I greatly appreciate it.”

Tooley presented Roberts with a framed certificate, pictured above.
