Tired Driver Crashes North of Mtn View

Jeremy Shelton, 35, of Summersville, fell asleep at the wheel as he drove a tractor trailer northbound on Highway 17. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Troop G, the truck traveled off the road and overturned about five miles north of Mountain View on August 6 at about 12:10 a.m.. Shelton sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment. He was wearing a safety belt at the time of the crash.
