Two Contested Races in West Plains

There are two West Plains City Council seats on the April ballot: a full four-year term now held by Jessica Nease, and a three-year term held by John Niesen which fills the unexpired term of Mayor Mike Topliff, who left the seat vacant when he was appointed Mayor in April 2021.

Filing began at 8 a.m. December 7 and closed at 5 p.m. December 28 in the office of the City Clerk Allison Skinner.
