Walgreens in Mtn. View announces closure

The local Walgreens #15054 in Mtn. View announced last week its permanent closure. Patrons were notified via a note on the door and a flyer attached to their receipts. The note and flyer both stated, "Store closing permanently January 27, 2025. The pharmacy will close at 3 PM."
Further instructions on the flyer directed patrons to pick up their prescriptions at the nearest Walgreens location in West Plains, Mo.
A statement from Bolerjack Discount Drug powered by Walgreens said that the decision to close the store was a corporate decision with no other explanation given.
