Willow Springs sailor among unclaimed veterans to receive military honors funeral May 25

The Missing In America Project (MIAP) in cooperation with the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center in Mountain Grove; Holman Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon; Texas County Coroner; and Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Waynesville will hold a special inurnment ceremony honoring four unclaimed Vietnam War Era Veterans.
Those Veterans are SGT Donald Dale Henson, US Army, of Lebanon; A3C Daniel Franklin Killinger, US Air Force, of Mountain Grove; SR Joseph T. Donaho, US Navy, of Willow Springs; and FR Ricky L. Gwin, US Navy, of Licking.
The interment will be held at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery located at Fort Leonard Wood in Waynesville, MO. The ceremony will cemmence at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25. A full timeline of the day's special event will include 9:00 a.m. arrival at Holman Howe Funeral Home, located at 320 Adams Ave., Lebanon, MO; 9:30 a.m. ride brief; 9:45 a.m. dignified transfer of cremains; 10:00 a.m. escorted to Fort Leonard Wood; 10:45 a.m. arrive at cemetery; 11:00 a.m. military honors will commence.
The purpose of MIAP is to locate, identify and inter the unclaimed cremated remains of American veterans through the joint efforts of private, state, and federal organizations. To provide honor, respect and dignity to those who have served this country by securing a final resting place for these forgotten veterans
Veterans were recovered from Howell,Laclede,Texas and Wright counties in Missouri. The public is invited to attend the service, as we honor these veterans with full Military Honors.
