A westbound 2014 Chevy Cruze driven by Kaela Wheat, age 28, of Willow Springs, was struck by a round hay bale that fell off a trailer being towed by an eastbound Ford F250 driven by Tanner Hoover, age 25, of West Plains. The crash totaled the Cruze and injured Wheat and her two minor male passengers, age 3 and 10. Wheat and the 10-year-old juvenile were not wearing safety devices at the time of the crash.
