Belle Lucille Bowen Oliver Gott

Belle Lucille Bowen Oliver Gott went to be with the Lord August 13, 2020. She was born March 11, 1931, at Oak Mills, Atchison County, Kansas to John Bowen and Opal (Smith) Bowen.
Lucille spent her youth in rural Texas County, MO and attended Liberty and Grogan Schools.
She married Philip Oliver of Willow Springs and made the area her home.  They were blessed with three daughters.  She later married Millard Gott and they enjoyed many years traveling around the country in their motorhome.  Following his death, she made her home in West Plains, MO as owner of Henry’s Mobile Home Park.  She loved greeting the overnight campers and discussing their common travel experiences. After retirement from Henry’s, she moved to Mississippi to be near her only granddaughter and great-grandson. She spent many hours each day doing what she loved, making quilt blocks to give to friends and family.  She was a loving, supportive mother and friend.  She was of the Baptist faith, read her Bible daily and prayed fervently for those she loved.  She said many times over the last two years of her illness that she was ready to go to heaven.  She asked Monday for her comfortable shoes to walk up the stairs to heaven.  Family is there now waiting for her.
She is survived by three daughters Phyllis (Tom) White, Willow Springs, Mary Spencer, (her care-giver), Brandon, MS, Sue (Pete) Flaherty, Linn, MO, granddaughter Tina Spencer, Brandon, MS, great-grandson Spencer Harris, brother Jack (Shirley) Bowen, Kansas City, KS, cousins and the many friends she made over the years.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husbands, Sister, Dena Lyons, Brother Bud Bowen.
A celebration of Life to be held at a later date. Arrangments by Bishop-King Funeral Home
