DONNA KAY (COLLINS) GLASSBURN

Donna Kay (Collins) Glassburn, a resident of Willow Springs, passed away early Monday morning, March 14, 2022, while at home. She was born September 30, 1966, in Houston, MO to Richard Junior and Elva Louise (Beasley) Collins, and was 55 years old.
Donna grew up and attended school in Houston, TX. In her younger years, she loved going to the beach, visiting the science museums, especially NASA. Shortly after the family moved back to Missouri, she worked at the Brown Shoe Company in Cabool for approximately 5 years, before they closed. She married David Allen Glassburn on June 22, 1996, at her parents' home with Pastor Charles Owens officiating. She enjoyed attending church at Blue Buck until her health started to fail. It was said her favorite pastime was reading, reading, and more reading. However, she also enjoyed growing and tending her flowers and garden. Because her family is very close-knit, she particularly treasured the time spent with them. She will be dearly missed by her family, her friends, and all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Delores Collins; her step-grandfather, Russell Davis; maternal grandparents, Ivan and Bertha Beasley; step-grandfather, Rudolph Siegrist; her mother, Elva Louise Collins; her aunt, Wilma; her uncle, Donald Collins and his wife, Juanita; her aunt, Opal Brixey and her husband, Donald; her aunt, Dorothy Bunch and her husband, Ocie; her uncles, Burchell Beasley, Gene Beasley and Hershell Collins.
Donna is survived by her husband, David Allen Glassburn; her father, Richard Collins; her sister, Lorretta Jean Collins; her uncle, Larry Collins; her aunts: Gloria Beasley and Marie Beasley of Montgomery, TX; and several cousins.
