Glenda Ann Vandenboss, 48, of Pomona, passed away on January 27, 2024, at Cox South in Springfield, MO.
Glenda was born and raised in Michigan. She later moved to Pomona Missouri with the love of her life Tom Shannon, she would then live out the rest of her life spending time with friends and family. Glenda was always making friends wherever she went, she was an extremely loving person who enjoyed playing fetch with her dog, shopping trips with her kids, visiting with her best friend Donna, and of course spoiling her grandchildren. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Glenda loved so fiercely, she touched many hearts in her lifetime. You are incredibly lucky if you were able to be loved by a beautiful woman because the love that she gives is a love that will last you a lifetime. Glenda was an amazing mother, the kind we all hope to be one day.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Shannon, of the family home, son Dustin Reynolds of Pomona, daughter Taylor Reynolds of Mtn. Grove, sister Margie Cleary of Eminence, brother Harold Vandenboss of Birch Tree, sister April Vandenboss of Missouri, her brother Lyle McDonough of Owosso, Michigan, sister Bernice Wyatt of Summersville, sister Charlotte Haines of Birch Tree, her mother Margaret Vandenboss of Eminence, and three grandchildren; Nolan Reynolds, Kiegan Warren, Alexandria Ortez.
Glenda was preceded in death by her father, Gary Vandenboss, brother-in-law Peter Cleary, and mother-in-law Irene Shannon.
She will be interred in a private graveside service at Munsell Cemetery in Eminence.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
