Jimmie Bamburg

Funeral services for Jimmie Ladean Bamburg, 85, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 18, at New Hope Baptist Church, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Bamburg passed away at 4:59 a.m., Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at his home.
He was born June 24, 1938, at Coushatta, Louisiana, to Harlon Bamburg and Robbie Cannon Bamburg. On May 16, 1958, he was married at Los Angeles, California, to Sarann Davidson, who preceded him in death on April 1, 2018. Mr. Bamburg was a veteran, having served with the United States Marines. He loved to play golf and watch golf on TV and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by two daughters, Vikki Lacey and husband, Steven, Newbury Park, California and Susan Haas, Willow Springs, Missouri; five grandchildren, Heather, Jennifer, Sara, Michael and Kym; five great-grandchildren, Danika, Kellen, Jensen, Rowen and Brinley; one brother, Jack Bamburg, State of Louisiana; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, wife and one grandson, Richard, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery.
