Loye David Bryan

Loye David Bryan, 92, Willow Springs, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.  Loye was born December 8, 1929, at Hutton Valley, Missouri, the son of Ralph David and Ella Frances (Byrd) Bryan.  Loye was united in marriage to Betty Lou Peabody on March 17, 1949, in Mountain View, Missouri, and to this union seven children were born, Michael, Steven, John, Wayne, Ann, Tina, and Deborah.
Loye is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Ella Bryan, and three sisters, Viola Colbert, Mary West, and Kathryn Cummings.  
Survivors include his loving wife of 73 years, Betty Lou; four sons, Michael (Kay) Bryan, Steven (Debbie) Bryan, John (Amber) Bryan, Wayne (Debbie) Smith, Willow Springs, MO; three daughters, Ann (Buck) Denton, Willow Springs, MO, Tina (Mitch) Smith, Vanzant, MO, and Deborah Page, Springfield, MO; 21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. 
Loye was a hard worker. He was employed with the City of Willow Springs for 24 years. He worked for several years in the construction industry and in the oil fields.  Loye retired from RKL-Construction in West Plains, MO after 10 years of service. He was also a member of the local Mason Lodge for over 50 years. 
Loye’s love for the outdoors wasn’t only for making a living, He enjoyed spending time on his farm, fishing, hunting and camping. But, his greatest joy was teaching his grandchildren to work. He loved and adored his time spent with each one.  Loye was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend to many and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.     
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29 at Epps Cemetery, Willow Springs. Public visitation will be held in the chapel at Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs, Missouri, prior to services from 11:00-1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital or Epps Cemetery.
