Mary Lee Thompson

Graveside services for Mary Lee Thompson, 59, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 18, 2022, at Oak Lawn Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Thompson passed away at 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2022, at Ozarks Healthcare.
She was born July 10, 1962 at Monett, Arkansas, to Marvin Elwood and Illa Faye Mize. She attended West Plains High School. She spent her career in the healthcare industry. She was a phlebotomist and also retired from the Arkansas Department of Health. On April 24, 2002 she married Dan Thompson in Panama City, Florida. Mary was a feisty, caring, loyal, intelligent, hardworking and strong woman. She loved spending time with her girls, dancing, and she loved to sing. She and Dan spent many fun years running karaoke on the weekends in Florida and when they returned to Missouri. She spent her life helping others in any way she could whether it was donating clothing to families in need or helping new mothers get access to diapers. Her home was always open to family or friends who needed somewhere to stay.
She is survived by her husband, Dan Thompson, of the family home; two daughters, Bethany James and husband, Brock, Springfield, Missouri, and Chelsie Isham and partner, Frankie Morris, Greenwood, Arkansas; three step-daughters, Jodi Purgason, and husband Cory, Wendi Prewett and husband, Jeremy, and Brandi Harrison and husband, Jeremy; five siblings, Linda Roberts and husband, Mike, Tereasa Murray and husband, David, Rick Mize and wife, Paula, Ronnie Mize, and Leasia Driscoll; beloved friend, Gary Hoover; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Her mother and father preceded her in death.
