Robert "Bob" E. Crudgington

Bob Crudgington, a resident of Willow Springs, MO passed away at Willow Care Nursing Home on Sunday September 10, 2023. He was born July 22, 1935, in Poplar Bluff, MO to George Henry and Mary Magdalene (Hill) Crudgington and was eighty-eight years old.
Bob spent a small portion of his working life at the shoe factory in Poplar Bluff before moving on to his lifelong career as a salesman for LB Price Company. On December 19, 1952, he married the love of his life Jeralene Hicks in Poplar Bluff. He faithfully attended First Baptist Church for sixty-three years, thirty of which he spent as the Sunday School Secretary. In his free time, he enjoyed many outdoor activities and clubs. He worked with the Boy Scouts of America, the Rotary Club, and the Masons. He also enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, talking, eating catfish, and baseball. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary; his brothers, Doug and Eddie; his daughter, Donna James; and his son in law, Larry Wake.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Jeralene; his children, Mike and Debbie; and his brother, Rick. He is further survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob's family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Rotary Club of Willow Springs in Bob's memory and may be left at the funeral home.
A graveside funeral service will be held for Bob Crudgington on Saturday, September 16, at 11:00 A.M. at Willow Springs City Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Williams officiating.
