Sharon Kaye Bales

Sharon Kaye Bales was born on November 20, 1952, in Mountain View, Missouri, to Ralph and Zola Smith. She passed away at her home on August 3, 2023.
Sharon was united in marriage to Gary Wayne Bales on March 27, 1971, and to this union, three children were born.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Zola Smith; brother, Leroy Smith; and husband, Gary Bales.
She is survived by her daughter, Candi Counts; son, Michael Bales; daughter-in-law, Amanda; daughter-in-law, Dolores Bales; son, Micky Bales and wife, Brenda; thirteen grandchildren, Logan, Coral, Jessmyn, Justice, Jacelyn, Malonnie, Maylin, Marley, Miranda, Abbigail, Eli, Julie, and Ashton; seven great-grandchildren, Layne, Ryker, Karstyn, Nevada, Isabelle, Crimson, and Harlow; and brother, Larry Smith and wife, Joyce.
Sharon was a loving Wife, Mother, and Mamaw. She loved spending time with her family and also enjoyed her time outdoors, planting flowers and watching the birds. You could usually find her on the porch, in the garden, or putting a smile on your face as a cashier at Walmart.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 8, at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri, with Pastor Rick Plumlee officiating. Interment will be in Grace Cemetery, Mountain View. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
