December 3, 1951-October 31, 2024
Sue Ellen Cravens, 72, Willow Springs, left her earthly home to be with Jesus. She always held onto, "I'll Fly Away"!
Sue was born on December 3, 1951, to Jesse Jack and Alfrieda Mae (Milligan) Cravens. Both parents went on to remarry. Sue was then raised by Jesse and Audrey (Koonce) Cravens, becoming a part of a large blended family.
Sue was proceeded in death by all three parents; sister Sherri (Hayes) Gibson; brothers Larry Lane, James Cravens, (Donald) Steve Lane and Burnice Hayes Jr; along with various family members.
Sue is survived by her brother of the family home, Robert Gibson, Willow Springs; sister, Mary, IL; brother Larry (Kacee) Cravens, AL; sister Candace (Shawn) Hood, Willow Springs; and her beautiful girls: Heavenly Gibson, Cabool, Robin Truelove, Pomona and Cherie Gault, Mountain Grove.
Susie was a cousin, aunt, great aunt and even great great Aunt to a vast crew. The scores of family and lives touched by our "Susie Q" would be impossible to count.
Fittingly, Sue passed on a holiday she loved... "Are you going to dress me up like a pumpkin?" She was forever young, a touch of sass ("pickle wickle"), a pure heart, one of the deepest examples of loyalty and unconditional love. She spent a lifetime playing pretend and dolls with children; painting nails and giving massages; and passing out smiles. Her "men" were Jesus and Elvis. We know Susie is sitting at the Master's feet, healed and whole.
Sue was cremated, with ceremonies to be held at a later date. Thank you to family and friends who have helped and reached out during this hard time.
The family requests that those who loved Sue celebrate her life this holiday season.
