William “Billy” Leota Mattison

William "Billy" Leota Mattison was born November 11, 1981, in Mountain View, Missouri, the son of Fred Mattison and Sheila (Smith) Peterman. He departed this life on March 2, 2024, at his home in Mountain View, Missouri at the age of 42.
 
Billy is preceded in death by his mother, Sheila Peterman; step-father, Jerry Peterman; son, Bailey Mattison, brother, Crue Ridenoure; and his cousin, Nathan Smith.
 
Survivors include his children, Aliyah and Jace; father, Fred Mattison; brother, Curtis (Emilie) Francis; sister, Hollie (Matthew) Kojdecki; sister, Crystal (Jason) Rutledge nephews and nieces, Kabella, Tylor, James, Harper, Delta, Macklynn, Lola, Addilyn, Benjamin, Zane, Kyah, Ashton and Raven; and the mother of his children, Maria Dreiling.
 
Billy was a born-again Christian and we know that he is with the Lord Jesus. He graduated from Willow Springs High School in the class of 2001. He was an incredible father to his children. He had a passion and gift with his career in sales. Billy was a big Lakers fan and especially loved watching Kobe Bryant. He will be missed deeply by all those who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8, at Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs, Missouri, with Brother J.D. Mattison officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment was in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Pomona, Missouri.
