Facebook uproar

This past week, I made a post on my Facebook wall regarding the appearance of a couple of buildings in downtown Willow Springs. A few minutes later, I was tagged in a post on the Willow Springs Community Support page. An anonymous person did not like my opinion and attacked my character and intelligence.

I tried to reply and defend myself, but this person turned the comments off. So my reply was not visible. However, their post remained on the page.

I have every right to post my opinion on my Facebook page. What this anonymous person did was not right and the administrators of the Willow Springs Community Support Group should never have let that post be posted.

As adults, we should be able to have a conversation about our difference of opinions. That would be the healthy thing to do. Not anonymously attacking someone.

I will not apologize for offending anyone. That's just one of the many things that is wrong in todays world. I have every right to my opinion and if you're offended by that, let's sit down and talk about it.
