Letter to the Editor

WOW! -- is my reaction to a weekend with friends, classmates and new acquaintances.  Like magic, there was an energy and spirit where 200 plus people assembled to declare an enduring bond and deep fondness with their class, town and memories.  Whether the class was 1945, '65, '85 or 2003, the smiles, hugs, laughter, frivolity and well-wishings were spirited and universal.  Harmony transcended politics, kinship trumped feud, and happiness arose leaving illness and burdens in the dust.  I am proud of Willow Springs and its citizens and alumni young and old, and I'm counting the days ‘til we can do it all again in 2022!  And oh yes! -- many thanks to all those who organized the event and special thanks to my brother Pat and his wife Connie.
