Moment in the Word

Hebrews 13:6 - "So that we may boldly say, 'The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.'"
Quoting Psalms 56:11 - Paul assured, "The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me." But his statement began with the phrase, "So that we may boldly say," which means "For this reason," or "Because of this," suggesting that he said something earlier. But what?
In verse 5, the apostle ordered believers to, "Let your conversation be without covetousness (greed); and be content with such things as ye have: for he (Jesus) hath said, 'I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.'"
Thus, if Almighty God is on our side, what more do we need?
Think about King David's words in Psalms 27:1&3 - as he ran from wicked King Saul before being anointed successor to the throne of Israel, "...The Lord is my light and my Saviour; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the defender of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Though an army should set itself in array against me, my heart shall not be afraid: though war should rise up against me, in this am I confident." (Septuagint - Psalms 26:1&3)
Again, St. Paul echoed the same steadfast hope in Romans 8:35, 37-39 - "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ...37Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Consequently, no matter what problem you face, our God is infinitely bigger and has promised, "...All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)
