The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. (Jeremiah 31:3)
Sometimes, events throw a curve and send us spinning as life is temporarily put on hold. Since difficult circumstances are perplexing, we experience great frustration and anxiety, enduring the unwanted situation.
However, through it all, we discover that God loves us with an everlasting love, and we learn that absolutely nothing can alienate us from Him.
Listen to St. Paul's words, "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? ...37 - No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 - For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth (heaven or hell), nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:35-39)
No matter where the road's twists and turns take us, God constantly remains nearby. A recently used verse still reminds us that there is no way to escape God's presence, even if we try. With God, there is simply no place to hide.
Remember what David said, "I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! 8 - If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there. 9 - If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, 10 - even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. 11 - I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night — 12 - but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to you." (Psalms 139:7-12)
Consequently, never abandon hope because it offers great rewards in any dilemma. (Hebrews 10:35)
