Proposed ordinance about distracted driving.

Another excuse to have a unlawful contact with citizens. The state statute is very clear about distracted driving. Why does WSPD need another law??
How about enforce the ones already in effect?
We have officers who sit and watch stop signs and if your wheels don't sit for a two second count they are after you like a felon.
We have officers who sit on the four lane and run radar...City Revenue???
Another one that sits on private property with no lights on and runs radar (Mercy Clinic Parking Lot)
How about the Vandalism to business and private property within the city.
Now there's the Drugs and violence that you can read about in the police reports every week in the paper.
How about WSPD doing some Preventative Patrols? I'm sure that I'll catch some feedback on this, just research these kinds of encroachment into our private business and once approved can and are usually used to circumvent the legal system to take away The Rights of We The People.
