Deputy Cody Voyles received a report of a missing persons and later located the subject.
Corporal Jacob Hamby received a call for service in regard to a scam call resulting in loss of funds.
Corporal Hamby took a stealing report.
Deputy Dylan Cook and Deputy First Class Malone responded to a residence located outside of West Plains for an individual reported not breathing and the reporting party refused to do CPR.
Deputy Tyler Ryan responded to a residence on County Road 5090 regarding a previous assault. Formal charges will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
Deputy Kory Taylor responded to the Mercy Emergency Room in Mountain View in regards to a dog bite.
May 19
Deputy First Class Robert Malone received information on the whereabouts of two individuals with felony arrest warrants.
Deputy Avery Stolba responded to an address on Private Road 1511, Pomona, for a death investigation.
Deputy Voyles and Corporal Jacob Hamby received a report of a juvenile disturbance in West Plains.
Sergeant Travis Weaver responded to the area of County Road 2150 in Pomona for the report of a runaway juvenile. He located the juvenile with the reporting party and transported them back to their residence. After an investigation of the incident, he referred the juvenile to the Child Advocacy Center and made a report with the child abuse and neglect hotline. This is an ongoing investigation.
Deputy Taylor responded to a residence on County Road 3020 Mountain View in regard to a runaway juvenile. They later located the juvenile and returned them home.
May 20
Deputy Ryan responded to conduct a VIN verification on State Route FF in Caulfield.
Deputy First Class Malone responded to a K9 deployment in the parking lot of Community First Bank on Porter Wagoner Blvd. for a traffic stop conducted by West Plains Police Dept.
Deputy Brandon Barnes received a call for service for an assault. During his investigation, it appeared both individuals were mutually combative during a physical altercation and both sustained injuries. He arrested both females and transported them to Howell County Jail.
Deputy Kyle Holloway conducted a traffic stop on State Route AD in Pottersville and arrested the driver for driving while intoxicated. Charges for the passenger of resisting or interfering with the arrest will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
May 21
Deputy Taylor conducted a traffic stop on North College Street in West Plains. He conducted field sobriety testing and arrested the operator of the vehicle for driving while intoxicated.
Deputy West responded to the area of County Road 3580 for a requested wellbeing check.
Deputy Michael Pauly overheard radio traffic advising Willow Springs cars to look for a Jeep Cherokee southbound on US Highway 63 from Cabool. Another department reported the plates on the vehicle and possibly a gun in the vehicle were stolen. After a pursuit, officers arrested the driver and passenger and held them for Homeland Security.
Deputy Hambelton responded to County Road 8110, West Plains for a verbal domestic dispute. He informed both parties of the 12-hour rule.
May 22
Deputy Austin DeShazo took a report of a court order violation. A report will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for review.
Investigator Tessa Jens spoke with a subject in reference to the welfare of their children while in their father’s care. The incident will be forwarded to Children's Division for follow-up.
Deputy West responded to the area of County Road 5120 for a report of a peace disturbance. He recommended civil remedies to resolve their issues.
Deputy Pauly received a call of a domestic disturbance on State Route 17, West Plains.
May 23
Deputy DeShazo responded to the area of County Road 4290, West Plains, for a report of a disturbance. The report will be considered closed due to the victim not wishing to pursue charges.
May 24
Deputy Stolba arrested an individual for an outstanding warrant.
Deputy Stolba responded to an address on State Route E, Moody, for a weapons offense.
May 25
Deputy Voyles received a report of a domestic dispute incident in West Plains. The investigation will continue.
