Calls for Service
September 5
Corporal Seth Smith received a call for service to respond to County Road 1360 for a weapons violation. He took a suspect into custody and formal charges are pending. 
Deputy Austin Ryan received a call of a domestic disturbance on County Road 9620, West Plains. Investigation found an argument occurred resulting in an individual pushing down another. The victim did not wish to pursue any charges on the suspect. 
Deputy Ryan received a call of a domestic situation on State Route 14. Both parties advised nothing physical occurred.
September 6
Deputy Ryan received a call of a domestic disturbance on State Route 14, West Plains. Both parties advised nothing physical occurred.
Deputy James Wardrip responded to property damage at a residence on County Road 9900, West Plains. He photographed the damage to the vehicle. This incident is closed due to no suspect or vehicle description. 
September 7
Deputy Ryan took a report from an individual reporting the steps torn from their porch on County Road 6380. There is no known suspect at this time.
Deputy Dakota Millard responded to Conley's Quick Stop, Pomona, for a report of stealing. An employee reported a subject pumped fuel and then left without paying. He gathered information along with images of the suspect. 
Deputy Jacob Hamby took a report of a possible identity theft. 
Deputy D. Millard responded to County Road 8970, West Plains for a report of a burglary. Photos of the scene were gathered. This case will be forwarded to the Howell County Investigation Division for follow-up. 
September 8
Deputy Michael Pauly received a call of death at State Route K, West Plains, as Deputy Howell County Coroner. 
Deputy Dylan Webb responded to a residence on County Road 5050, Willow Springs, for a death investigation. There were no signs of trauma and death is believed to be from natural causes. 
Deputy Pauly received a call of a burglary on County Road 3440, Mountain View. 
September 9
Deputy Brian Jackson took a report of damage to a vehicle sustained overnight at a residence located on County Road 5900, Willow Springs.
