Calls for Service
November 27
Deputy Dylan Webb took a report of stalking. 
Deputy Brandon Meacham responded to Mountain View for a report of stealing. He arrested the subjects and transported them to Howell County Jail. 
November 28
Deputy Meacham received a report from County Road 3400, Mountain View of property damage. 
November 29
Jailer Leekota Amore spoke to an inmate reporting an assault. 
Deputy First Class Jared Hummel received a report at the sheriff's office of a threat being made through the mail. There are no suspects at this time.
November 30
Deputy Talon Millard received a call of a stolen vehicle from State Route K of West Plains. Charges will be sent to the Howell County Prosecutor's Office for review. This report will be forwarded to the Investigations Division. 
Jailer Amore spoke to an inmate in the Howell County Adult Detention Center to take a report of threats. A copy of this report will be forwarded to the Howell County Sheriff's Office Investigations Division. 
Mountain View Police Department requested Lieutenant Torey Thompson to investigate a case due to a conflict of interest. 
December 1
Deputy Robert Malone responded to a sex offense call located on US Highway 63. An investigation will be being conducted. 
Deputy Austin Ryan responded to the area of County Road 8551 for an agency assist for an unresponsive female. Prior to his arrival other responders pronounced an elderly person deceased.
December 2
Deputy Shaun Duggins received a call requesting assistance for a report of arson in a carport.
Deputy Jacob Hamby received a request for a wellbeing check at a residence on US Highway 60 in Mountain View. Further investigation led to an individual transported to Mercy Hospital formal charges of domestic assault in the first degree will be sought.  
Deputy Timothy Gordon responded to an address in the Mountain View area for a wellbeing check on a juvenile. He contacted a parent and found the juvenile safe.
December 3
Corporal Seth Smith received a call to County Road 5730 for a report of child endangerment. After an investigation no charges will be filed at this time.
Corp. Logan Wake spoke with juveniles alleging a stepparent pointed a firearm at a juvenile. The case is under investigation. 
Deputy Dakota Millard responded to County Road 2720 near Willow Springs for a report of a domestic assault incident involving a firearm. The suspect left the scene before he arrived. A probable cause statement form will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
