Calls for Service
January 8
Deputy John Thomas responded to property damage report in Pomona. 
Deputy Robert Malone received a report of a court order violation that took place via phone messages. The investigation is still ongoing.
January 9
Deputy Talon Millard received a call of a possible domestic assault that had occurred at Jackson Street in West Plains as well as possible child abuse that occurred on County Road 3850 in Peace Valley. An ex-parte against the suspect will be filed and charges will be sent to the Howell County Prosecutor's Office for review. 
Brandon Meacham responded to an open 911 call. He found nothing apparent at the residence.
January 10
Corporal Seth Smith received a call to respond to a residence on County Road 1940 in Peace Valley for a report of a physical domestic. Prior to his arrival the parties separated. He arrested an individual and formal charges are being pursued. 
Deputy Jacob Hamby responded to State Route E in West Plains in regards to stealing. 
Deputy Austin Ryan responded to an individual wanting to file a report of a protection order violation in the area of County Road 3090 in West Plains. A report will be forwarded to the Howell County Sheriff's Office. 
January 11
Deputy Ryan spoke to an individual reporting stealing in the area of US Highway 160 in West Plains. 
Deputy Hamby responded to County Road 8680 in West Plains to meet with Children's Division at the residence for a report of child abuse. This case will be sent to the Howell County Investigations Division for follow-up.
Cpl. Smith took a report of identity theft.
January 12
Deputy Hamby received a call for an assault that took place on County Road 6690, West Plains. Charges will be sent to the Howell County Prosecutor for review. 
The Howell County SWAT team executed a search warrant at a residence on US Highway 60 in Mountain View for illegal narcotics and firearms. Methamphetamine, several items of drug paraphernalia, ammunition, and an illegal firearm were seized from the residence. They arrested a subject took him to the Howell County Adult Detention Center. 
January 13
The Howell County SWAT team responded to execute a search warrant on a residence on US Highway 60 in Mountain View. They secured the residence and took the suspect in the case into custody. 
Deputy Tessa Jens responded to a physical domestic in progress, located at US Highway 160, Caulfield. They placed the suspect on a 24-hour hold, pending formal charges.
