January 15
Deputy Adriel Lisboa received a call in Mountain View for a burglary that occurred at an earlier time.
Deputy Dylan Webb spoke with an individual reporting they slid off the road in inclement weather and when they returned for the vehicle, it could not be located. Investigation found the highway patrol requested the vehicle towed.
Deputy John Thomas responded to a credit card theft in Mountain View.
January 16
Deputy Webb spoke to an individual reporting someone contacted them through Facebook Messenger regarding their business account, and they relayed personal information. No charges will be sought at this time.
January 17
Deputy Robert Malone responded to an address in West Plains for a report of shots fired into a home.
Deputy Lisboa received a call in Willow Springs to take a report for property damage.
January 18
Deputy Jacob Hamby received a report in regards to possible elderly abuse. A report will be forwarded to Investigations Division.
January 19
Deputy Tessa Jens received a report of a juvenile subject bitten by a dog. She contacted the hospital and the mother.
Deputy Jens responded to a domestic disturbance in progress, located at a residence on County Road 2010, West Plains. Statements from the reporting party advised another individual physically assaulted them. They later located the subject on County Road 1600 and took them into custody and placed them on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.
Deputy Jordon Collins took a report of a violation of an order of protection. A probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office seeking formal charges.
While Deputy Shaun Duggins attempted to serve an outstanding arrest warrant he located a stolen vehicle. He applied for a search warrant and executed it on January 18 and recovered a stolen 2016 Ford U-Haul box truck valued at $60,000.00.
