Calls for Service
February 13
Deputy Jacob Hamby responded to County Road 6690 in West Plains to meet with Children's Division to ensure safety of a juvenile. This case will be sent to the Howell County Investigations Division for follow-up.
Deputy James Wardrip responded to a residence County Road 2390 in Mountain View to take a report of possible child abuse. Children's Division advised to the parents to let the victim stay where they were for the night until they could come out and investigate the situation.
Deputy Timothy Gordon received a report concerning harassment and threats made on social media. After reviewing the messages, he does not believe them rising to the level of pressing any charges in this incident.

Corporal Seth Smith took a report of a missing person.
Deputy Gordon responded to a residence in the Dora area to take a report of a damaged mailbox.
February 15
Deputy Adriel Lisboa responded to serve a court ordered 96-hour medical hold on a subject at the hospital.
Deputy Dylan Webb took a report of property damage to a vehicle.
Deputy Talon Millard responded to a call of a possibly deceased male on County Road 8320 of West Plains.
February 17
Deputy Robert Malone responded to Jefferson Avenue in Brandsville for a domestic assault call. Investigation resulted in the arrest of one subject.
Deputy Malone responded to County Road 7890 in Caulfield for a disturbance. Investigation resulted in the arrest of one subject.
February 19
Deputy Hamby received a report in reference to an order of protection violation. Charges will be sent to the Howell County Prosecutor for review.
Deputy Hunter Ward took a report of identity theft.
Deputy Devon Mendenhall received notice of an individual wishing to report a stealing that occurred in the previous weeks.
February 20
Deputy Gordon conducted a traffic stop in Mountain View. Investigation found that the driver to be suspended and had a felony full extradition warrant out of Nebraska. Formal charges will be pending.
Deputy Ryan received a report of a victim wanting to report property damage in the area of County Road 8670 in West Plains. This case is still under investigation.
