January 20
While on patrol on US Hwy 60 near Mountain View, Deputy First Class Talon Millard observed a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed driving around other cars. He conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver. Charges will be submitted to the Howell County Prosecutor's Office.
Corporal Jacob Hamby took a report of a violation of a court order.
Corporal Travis Weaver responded to County Road 6300 for the report of property damage.
Deputy Jordon Collins took a report of a violation of an order of protection. He arrested the suspect and placed them on a 24-hour hold. A Probable Cause Statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
Deputy Devon Mendenhall responded to a domestic assault in Pottersville. He arrested one subject and placed them on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.
January 21
Deputy First Class James Wardrip arrested an individual on an out of state warrant.
January 22
While on patrol in South Fork, Deputy Chancey Hambelton’s vehicle struck an animal causing damage to the vehicle.
January 23
Deputy Tyler Ryan spoke to an individual in regards to someone running dogs on their land.
Deputy Austin Ryan took a report of littering.
Sergeant Seth R. Smith took a report of forgery. This case is under investigation.
Cpl. Nicholas Bruno responded to a business on US Highway 63 in reference to a dog bite. This case is ongoing.
January 24
Deputy First Class Robert Malone responded to county road 7960 for a dispute. He found a violation of a court order took place.
Deputy Avery Stolba responded to County Road 1290 in Willow Springs for a stealing report.
Deputy A. Ryan responded to the area of County Road 9160 in Koshkonong in reference to an agency assist with fire departments at a residence regarding a fire.
Deputy First Class Meacham responded to State Route N, Pomona for a child custody complaint. A Probable Cause Affidavit will be sent to the Howell County Prosecutors Office.
Deputy Hambelton conducted a traffic stop on county road 7830. It resulted in an arrest for possession of a controlled substance.
January 25
Deputy Michael Pauly received a call reporting stealing on County Road 3850, Peace Valley.
January 26
Deputy First Class Malone had a vehicle left partially in the roadway at the intersection of State Route K and Garner Blvd towed for safety.
