October 24
While on routine patrol in Mountain View, the Mountain View Police Department started a pursuit.  Once they arrested the suspect, Deputy James Wardrip transported them to the Howell County Detention Center and placed them on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges. 
Deputy Austin Ryan took a report of a stolen motorcycle.
Deputy Ryan responded to a property damage call on County Road 2960, Mountain View. He obtained information and evidence at the scene. This case is still under investigation. 
Deputy Tessa Jens spoke with a subject at a residence on State Route ZZ in reference to property damage.
October 25
Deputy Ryan took a report of a stolen firearm. The case is under investigation.
Deputy Ryan received a report of stealing in the area of County Road 7690. This case is still under investigation.
Deputy Dakota Millard took a report of a stolen tractor and trailer. The case is under investigation.
Deputy D. Millard responded to State Route WW, Mountain View, for a report of a domestic assault. He arrested the suspect and transported them to the Howell County Adult Detention Facility.
Corporal Brian Jackson took a report of a possible protection order violation. 
October 27
Deputy John Thomas took a report of harassment. 
Deputy Robert Malone responded to County Road 9240 a death investigation.  
October 28
Deputy Dylan Webb responded to State Route KK for a report of a juvenile runaway. This is an ongoing issue with the juvenile. A report will be forwarded to the juvenile office. 
October 29
The Howell County Sheriff's Office, West Plains Police Department, and South Central Drug Task Force conducted a search warrant at a residence in West Plains. As a result of the search warrant, they arrested one suspect and transported them to the Howell County Adult Detention Center pending charges of two counts of Trafficking Drugs or Attempt First degree, four counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, and Keeping or Maintaining a Public Nuisance. The suspect is being held on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges from the Howell County Prosecutor's Office.
