Incidents
July 25
A theft from a storage unit was reported. A storage unit on County Road 1540 had been broken into, with multiple items missing.
A motor vehicle theft was reported in the 5800 block of County Road 1580.
The theft of an ATV was reported in the 700 block of State Route AM. The victim reported a 2019 Polaris Ranger and various tools had been taken from a building on the property. 
Deputies were dispatched to the 100 Block of Illinois Avenue in Brandsville for an assault between juveniles. There was no evidence to prove which juvenile started throwing rocks first and neither party wanted the juvenile office involved.
A trailer was reported stolen from the 3600 block of County Road 4420. The incident is under investigation.
Deputies responded to County Road 6330 for a verbal domestic. No charges were filed.
July 26
A verbal domestic was reported in the 7300 block of County Road 5090. A report was taken, but no charges were pursued.
A dog was reported stolen from a residence on County Road 3370, Mountain View. The reporting party said a white van stopped at his driveway, and his dog hadn’t been seen since the van left.
A theft was reported from the 2200 block of State Route 142. The victims reported multiple items were missing.
Assistance was provided to the Children’s Division for an investigation on County Road 7040. Upon arrival, the mother of the child in question was asked to report to the Children’s Division office for further investigation.
A vehicle accident was reported on County Road 7260, Caulfield. The driver on scene stated the other driver had left. Images of the damage and a statement form were gathered.
July 27
A traffic stop near Abe Street in West Plains led to a drug arrest. A K9 unit was deployed and suspected methamphetamine was found. The driver was arrested, pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance.
A report of harassment was made by an individual on County Road 7040.
While booking an individual, a deputy was made aware the detainee had a warrant out of Greene County, Paragould, Ark. The individual was arrested for being a fugitive from out of state.
A theft was reported from a storage unit on Luna Drive. Multiple items had been taken.
July 28
A deputy responded to secure the scene on State Route PP, West Plains, for EMS. A woman was found to be having a mental health crisis and was taken to Ozarks Healthcare.
A verbal domestic was reported in the 7600 block of County Road 1240. The incident had occurred inside a motor vehicle. The reporting party said nothing further was needed.
A deputy responded to a report of property found in the 14300 block of State Route E.
A report of stolen items was reported from the 13300 block of State Route E.
A dirt bike and three-wheeler reported stolen from the 4300 block of State Route N.
A vehicle was reportedly stolen from the 4800 block of County Road 8800.
July 29
A citizen reported locating multiple firearms next to the roadway, wrapped in a sheet. The weapons matched several stolen during a burglary in West Plains, and they were released to the police department. The investigation is ongoing.
July 30
A report was made of a burglary in the 11200 block of County Road 6970. Home surveillance showed a white male enter the residence multiple times, but nothing appeared to be missing.
A traffic stop was made on Independence Drive for an equipment violation and the operator of the motorcycle was arrested for driving while suspended.
August 1
A burglary was reported from the 500 block of County Road 1280. Property damage was reported, and several items were missing.
A traffic stop was conducted on State Route 14, with the driver and passenger arrested.
A vehicle fire was reported on State Route 17 near Lanton. The driver had left the scene. The driver and occupant were located, and a report was taken.
An assault was reported in the 4100 block of County Road 1690, Pomona. The reporting party did not want to seek charges.
A theft was reported from the 1300 block of County Road 8530. The investigation is ongoing.
An individual on County Road 9030 reported mailbox damage and asked for extra patrols in the area.
