April 15
A semi truck was stopped in the turning lane in front of Signal on Pine Street with its flashers on. An officer responded to assist, and the truck was started again.
Loose dogs were reported on East 1st Street. A warning was issued to the owner of the animals. 
April 18
A well-being check was requested for the owner of a vehicle that had been washed away in flood water. Contact was made with the individual, who was fine. 
Traffic control was provided for a funeral procession, going to T Highway. 
A call was received from an individual in Indiana who stated that his computer was being hacked. The individual was advised to call his local police department. 
April 19
A tow truck was called for a truck that was located in the creek behind the softball field. 
An elderly female was pronounced dead after a residential fire on Falck. Another person living at the residence, the woman’s 19-year-old grandson, was later arrested and charged with her murder. 
A possible domestic disturbance was reported at Wayside Park. The individuals that were described were gone upon officer arrival. 
The owner of Malone’s reported that they believed someone was smoking marijuana in one of the rental units. 
April 20
A male subject was reported drinking alcohol in a vehicle in the Walmart parking lot. Contact was made with the man, who was not intoxicated and did not plan to operate the vehicle. 
A female subject reported the possible fraudulent use of her information. 
A well-being check was requested for a female subject on Pine. Contact was unable to be made. 
A vehicle was reported having driven off of the upper lot at Mountain View Lumber. 
A verbal domestic disturbance was reported on 7th Street. Both parties were separated for the evening. 
A driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance near Walmart. 
April 21
Gas was reported stolen from vehicles parked on 5th Street.
