May 26
A driver on East Fifth St. was cited for possession of marijuana and driving under the influence of drugs. 
An officer was dispatched to an address on Wade St for a report of littering. 
Officers responded to an address on East James St. for a report of a disturbance between neighbors. 
May 27
Officers responded to an address on South Elm for a report of trespassing and harassment. 
Corporal Trenton Roberts responded to a residence on North Ash St. for a report of a disturbance. The suspect fled and was unable to be located. 
May 28
Officers cited a driver for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, first degree property damage motivated by discrimination, operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner, leaving the scene of an accident, and resisting/interfering with arrest for a felony. 
Corporal Roberts was dispatched to East James St. about a man the property owner wanted removed. The caller was advised eviction procedures had to take place. 
Corporal Roberts was dispatched to Delp Rd. for a report of a woman banging on a window trying to get into the house. Contact was made with the female, and she did live in the residence, but was asked to stay somewhere else for the night. 
A woman came into the police department to request help removing a man from her residence on Falck St. The man, who has several active warrants, was not able to be located. 
Corporal Roberts was dispatched for a burglar alarm on Meadow Lane. The homeowner was on scene and advised it was a false alarm. 
Corporal Roberts was dispatched to east U.S. Highway 60 for a report for a report of a woman throwing bottles at a sign. The subject was gone upon officer arrival. 
Corporal Roberts responded to Dollar General for a report of a disturbance. The situation was resolved, and the parties left peacefully. 
May 29
Corporal Roberts arrested Joseph Stark, 35, of Mountain View. Stark was taken into custody for failing to obey a lawful order and was transported to the police department. After an interview with police, Stark was released from custody. No citation was issued.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on Woolsey Avenue for a report of a domestic issue involving the abuse or neglect of a child. The subject on scene assaulted an officer and was taken into custody. Additional offenses in the report include charges of first degree domestic violence from a prior offender, cruelty toward a child, aggravated assault of a special victim, and resisting arrest. 
A man came into the station to report a careless driver in the Walmart parking lot. The vehicle was unable to be located. 
Corporal Roberts checked the wellbeing of a woman who was in the intersection of Highways 60 and Y. The woman was advised to stay out of the intersection.
An individual was arrested on North Elm St. for possession of less than ten grams of marijuana. 
Corporal Roberts received a call from a man who had fled from police saying he wanted to turn himself in. Contact was made with the subject’s parole officer. Charges will be forwarded to the prosecuting attorney.
May 30
Officers arrested an individual on U.S. Highway 60 for possession of less than ten grams of marijuana. 
Corporal Roberts was dispatched to North Ash St. for a report of theft between two business partners. The parties filled out a complaint form. 
A male reporting party requested additional patrol for four-wheelers riding around the neighborhood making noise. 
May 31
The department received a report of harassment via electronic messages. 
Detective Stetson Schwien received a complaint that a woman believed an officer kept her car title during a traffic stop. Upon review of body cam footage, it was determined the officer did give the title back.
A man called to report his vehicle keys were stolen. The reporting party gave the name a suspect, but declined to press charges or pursue further avenues.
