Asst. Chief Roberts responded to the James Street Apartments for a suspicious subject in the parking lot. 
Asst. Chief Roberts attempted to conduct a requested wellbeing check, but the vehicle left the area before he arrived.
Asst. Chief Roberts spoke to an individual concerned about a possible scam text message they received.
Asst. Chief Roberts conducted a wellbeing request from Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
Asst. Chief Roberts responded to Dollar General for a stealing complaint.
April 21
Officer James Wardrip arrested an individual on an outstanding warrant.
Officer Wardrip spoke with an individual reporting her landlord took her cat and is now holding it hostage in another town and will only give it back if she pays money.
Cpl. McGee arrested two individuals on outstanding warrants.
April 22
Chief Stetson Schwien conducted a requested wellbeing check.
Officer Wardrip responded to a report of a goat in the walking park. He arrived at the same time as the goat’s owner who returned it to the pen.
April 23
Officer Jacob Brixey assisted Shannon County Sheriff’s Office with an investigation of a gun shot injury sent to Mercy St. Francis. 
Officer Combs responded to a disturbance. He gave the individual a courtesy ride to the crisis center in West Plains. When they arrived, the individual became unresponsive and EMS transported them to the hospital.
Officer Combs assisted the Missouri State Highway Patrol with an individual posting bond on an outstanding warrant.
 
For the week officers: followed up on four previous investigations, investigated three reports of suspicious activity, provided one escort, assisted with one animal call, spoke with eight individuals requesting information and issued sixteen traffic warnings.
