Calls for Service
July 29
Officer Timothy Gordon responded to a report of illegal dumping.  Upon arrival, Officer Gordon took information regarding bags of items that were abandoned in a yard.  
Detective Stetson Schwien assisted on a traffic stop, which resulted in an arrest.  
A man called the police department and spoke with Officer Gregory Abney.  The man wanted to report a phone number he doesn’t recognize keeps calling him. 
July 30
Detective Schwien performed a wellbeing check at the Valley View Apartments as requested by 911 dispatch.  The officer spoke with the individual, who was fine.  
Officer Dawnesha Scott performed a wellbeing Check on W. Fourth Street. 
Officer Gordon was dispatched to East U.S. 60 Highway for a report of a downed power pole. Upon arrival, the fire department had the scene under control.  
August 1
A man contacted Corporal Trenton Roberts to report text messages he was receiving. 
August 2
A woman from the Valley View Apartments called the police department to report a man harassing her.  Officer Gregory Abney responded and spoke with both the man and woman.  The man then left.  
A man came to the police department to inquire about property seized during an arrest.  Corporal Roberts gave the man information on the status of the property.
