Incidents
September 12
An intoxicated male subject was reported driving a golf cart on Leyda. The man was taken into custody.
A female subject was arrested on an active warrant on the 1100 block of Kentucky.
A woman was taken into custody on an Ozark County warrant on the 900 block of Broadway.
The West Plains Public Library reported a theft by a juvenile. The matter is under investigation.
A male subject turned himself in on two active warrants at the West Plains Police Department.
September 13
A runaway juvenile was reported on the 3400 block of Division Drive. The juvenile was located and taken to the Howell County Juvenile Office.
September 14
A wallet was found at Subway in Southern Hills. Contact was attempted with the owner of the wallet.
A male subject was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a traffic accident at Jan Howard Expressway and 5th Street.
A theft was reported on the 1400 block of Country Club Drive.
A court order violation was reported on West 3rd Street. A juvenile refused to leave with a party, due to past and present physical altercations.
September 15
A male subject was taken into custody on an active warrant during a traffic stop on Porter Wagoner Boulevard. 
September 16
A driver was issued citations for expired registration and driving while suspended during a stop on Olden.
An intoxicated male subject was arrested for trespassing at a business on the 1300 block of Preacher Roe Boulevard.
A driver was issued citations for no valid operator license, failure to maintain financial responsibility, and expired registration during a traffic stop on Myrtle.
Three suspicious subjects were reported on the 600 block of Missouri Avenue. One of the subjects had been assaulted. A suspect was located and was placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges. The suspect was also found to be in possession of a suspected controlled substance.
September 17
An aggressive dog was reported on the 1100 block of Garfield. The owner of the dog was not located, and the animal was taken to the animal control facility.
Property damage was reported on Manze Street. After an investigation, a female suspect was taken into custody.
September 18
A woman reported a violation of a court ordered child custody arrangement. Charges are being filed against the father of the children.
A woman reported that she was being harassed by her ex-boyfriend. The woman did not wish to pursue charges but did want the incident to be documented.
A suicidal male subject was reported on State Route BB. The male was located and was transported to Ozarks Healthcare for a mental evaluation.
An ex parte violation was reported on the 2400 block of Deatherage. A probable cause statement was forwarded to the county prosecutor.
A domestic disturbance was reported near O’Reilly’s on Porter Wagoner Boulevard. A report was taken for domestic assault, and the parties were separated for the night.
