October 16
Officer Robert Shell responded to Porter Wagoner Blvd for a disturbance call. 
Officer Barrett responded to the intersection of Broadway Ave and Washington Ave for a two-vehicle accident with one driver leaving the scene. 
The Howell County Sheriff Department requested that digital forensics be conducted on a cellular device as part of an ongoing investigation within their jurisdiction. They completed the process, and the device and forensic report were provided to the case agent. 
October 17
Cpl. Wesley Stuart responded to CarMart for a report of an alarm. Investigation found the business to be burglarized. Officers apprehended a suspect after a brief search of the area. A male suspect will be held at West Plains Jail pending formal charges for burglary, possession of burglary tools, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest. 
Officer Shell took a report of a runaway juvenile. This case will be forwarded to the Howell County Juvenile Office to further investigate. 
Officer Shell responded to Porter Wagoner Blvd for a report of stealing. Charges will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
Officer Brent Keepes responded to West Third Street for a report of a runaway juvenile. They located the juvenile later at the residence.
October 18
Officer Heuchelin responded to Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Bill Virdon for an alarm. Officers did not located anyone and secured the building.
While conducting extra patrol at the Missouri State University West Plains Campus, Sgt. Wichowski located an open door. Officers cleared the structure and determined it to be unoccupied. 
Officer Ivie Powell responded to E. 3rd Street in reference to a subject who broke into the building. Investigation brought officers into contact with one subject that they later released. This matter will be closed at this time. 
Officer Connor Burnes received a report of harassment. A juvenile victim reported an ongoing issue with another juvenile. This case is still under investigation. 
Officer Shell responded to a call for property damage on Preacher Roe. 
Officer Chris Siegrist took a report of stealing. This case is still under investigation. 
Officer Siegrist responded to Aid Ave. in reference to property damage. This case is still under investigation. 
Officer Siegrist responded to Aid Ave in reference to an unconscious female. After attempting life saving measures, officers determined the individual to be deceased. This case is still under investigation. 
Officer Daiman Meyer responded to Porter Wagoner Blvd, for a wellbeing check. Arriving at the residence officers learned there were multiple intoxicated juveniles at the residence. Officers called the parents to provide transport for the juveniles. This case is closed with no formal charges sought due to the cooperation of the subjects. 
October 19
Officer Meyer took a report of stealing which occurred on Kentucky Avenue at a business. Investigation identified a suspect. This case is open and active pending a formal interview with the suspect. 
Officer Powell responded to Preacher Roe in reference to a theft report. The reporting party advised a subject entered the store and after selecting items, concealed them and left without paying. Officers identified the suspect, and a probable cause statement will be forwarded to the prosecutor’s office. 
Officer Jacob Brixey took a report of harassment that occurred on Burgoyne Street. He later issued the suspect a summons to court. 
Officer Barrett responded to a business located on Porter Wagoner Blvd for a report of stealing. He spoke with an individual who stated that subjects came into the business and removed an item. This case is still under investigation. 
Officers responded to Trish Knight St. for an individual claiming another whom they had a Protection Order against violated court orders. This case has pending charges of Violation of Order of Protection for Adult - second offense. The case will be referred to the Howell County Prosecutor's Office. 
Sgt. Wichowski took a report of a verbal domestic.
October 20
Officer Meyer responded to Armstrong Avenue for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Investigation learned a juvenile took their guardian's vehicle without permission. They did not locate juvenile. This case is open and active and referred to the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office for review.
Officer Meyer responded to the area of Burke Avenue and Rita Drive for a report of a disturbance. The investigation learned multiple subjects were involved an altercation. While interviewing the subjects all of them indicated they did not wish to pursue legal action, this case should be considered closed due to no formal charges being sought. 
Cpl. Thomas Manning took a report of stealing.
Officer Powell responded to Preacher Roe in reference to a woman and children being held against their will. He spoke to the victim who advised a subject with whom she has an ongoing relationship with attempted to hit her while driving and drove the vehicle toward several trees, scaring everyone in the vehicle. Officers located the suspect and placed him in custody to be held on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges. A probable cause statement will be completed and forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor’s Office. 
Officer Meyer responded to the area of Broadway Street and Porter Wagoner Blvd for a report of a suspicious individual. In his investigation, he located a group of individuals with an intoxicated subject. The subject in question was not of legal drinking age, and he transported them to the West Plains Police Department Jail where they were later released with citations. This case will be referred to the Howell County Municipal Prosecutor's Office for review. 
October 21
Sgt. Wichowski responded to a domestic disturbance on Gibson Avenue. Investigation determined a subject assaulted another at the residence. Officers arrested the suspect and placed them on a twenty-four-hour hold. Formal charges are pending through the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
Officer Shell responded to Saint Louis St. for a call of a domestic in progress.
Officer Siegrist responded to E. Maple in reference to a disturbance. The involved parties were separated.
Officers received a call of a careless and imprudent driver on Hwy 63. They arrested the individual operating the motorcycle for minor in possession of intoxicants by consumption.
October 22
Officer Shell responded to Saint Louis St. for a motor vehicle accident call with a vehicle leaving the scene.
Officer Siegrist took a report of harassment.
Officer Siegrist responded to Walnut St. in reference to stealing. A probable cause statement will be completed and forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor's Office
Officer Siegrist received a call to South Howell in reference to property damage. A probable cause statement will be completed and forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor’s Office.
Officers responded to Summit Ave. for an assault. No injuries were reported as a result of the altercation and the victim did not wish to pursue charges.
