Bears in the Mountain Grove Tournament

The Willow Springs Bears did not bring home any hardware from the Family Pharmacy Panther Classic last week. In the first round, the Bears squared off against the Hartville Eagles for the second time this season. The Bears fell by an almost identical margin during the tournament: 60 to 35.
On Friday night, they took on the Marshfield Blue Jays. The Bears allowed 70 points, and only managed to sink 56.
The Bears now have a record of 5-12 for the season.
Next up for the Bears is an away game at Thayer on Jan. 31, and then the Hoop Queen game at Munford Gymnasium on Friday, Feb. 3 against the 5-13 Salem Tigers. Hoop Queen festivities will take place immediately before the varsity game.
