Eagles 5-0 in the SCA

The Liberty Eagles started the week with a make-up game in Hartville. 27 points from Terrell Gaines and 17 from Drew Ripko weren't enough to get the win. Hartville defeated Liberty 72-58.
The Eagles headed to Houston next to face the Tigers. Freshman Drayton Wells had a double-double stat night, scoring 12 points and reaching for 11 rebounds. The JV got a solid win over the Tigers, 44-37. The Liberty varsity then took the floor. Terrell Gaines scored 25 points and Drew Ripko 23 for an SCA victory over Houston, 74-47. Senior Drew Ripko hit his 1,000th career point against the Tigers.
Liberty hosted the Ava Bears Thursday. Cole Matthews and Eddie Rodriguez both scored 11 points each for the junior varsity Eagles, while Drayton Wells earned another double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. This team effort sent the junior varisty Eagles soaring over the Bears 51-42. The varsity Eagles had a good night as well with Terrell Gaines scoring 28 points, Drew Ripko 20, and Lucas Frazier 12.
