Eagles Take Third at Battle of the Borders

Liberty Eagles Varsity boys spent the week playing in Mammoth Spring Arkansas in the Battle of the Border Tournament.

The Eagles overcame the Mammoth Spring Bears in the first round of the tournament with a final score of 80-56. They went on to face the Alton Comets but fell to the tournament champs. Saturday afternoon Liberty faced Sloan-Hendrix for the battle for third place. The Eagles came out victorious with a final score of 88-62. Terrell Gaines was named All-Tournament Team after scoring a total 58 points in Mammoth Spring this week for the Eagles.
