Eagles Win All Week

On Tues., Jan. 17, the Varsity Eagles traveled to Eminence to face the Redwings. Terrell Gaines scored 17 points, Gavin Reese 15 points, Carter Pruett had 9 points and 6 steals, and Lucas Frazier had 7 points and 7 rebounds to give the Eagles the victory over the Redwings, 60-53.
The Eagles traveled to Oregon County to face the Alton Comets on Friday, January 20. Junior Varsity played two quarters and defeated the Comets 25-14. Parker Tune scored 10 points for the JV Eagles. The Varsity contest was a gritty battle to the last seconds. Drew Ripko scored 24 points, Terrell Gaines 20 points, and Carter Pruett had 14 points and 8 rebounds. The Eagles got the win over the Comets 63-60.
Both Junior Varsity and Varsity Eagles will take part in the Mountain Grove Tournament next week.
