Lady Bears volleyball struggles this week

The Lady Bears hosted the Cabool Lady Bulldogs Tuesday where a back-and-forth battle ensued. Willow started out by winning the first set 25-22. But Cabool would strike back by winning the second set 9-25. Third set needed extra possessions with Willow outlasting Cabool 26-24. Cabool was not to be out done and took the fourth set 21-25. It all came down to the fifth and final set where the Lady Bulldogs took the final set 11-15. Lily Bolander led the Lady Bears in kills with 14.The JV Lady Bears beat Cabool JV in the JV game.

Thursday, the Lady Bears traveled to play the conference-leading Houston Lady Tigers . Houston proved to be too much with the Lady Tigers defeating the Lady Bears in 3 straight sets 18-25,15-25, and 13-25. Aspen Crudgington led the Lady Bears in kills with 6. The JV Lady Bears fell to Houston also in 3 sets. The loss leaves the Lady Bears with a record of 9-14-4.
