Locals participate in annual Kathy Noirfalise Memorial Golf Tournament

Congratulations to Michele Meyers of Willow Springs, and Penny Reynolds of Cherokee Village, AR. They are the winners of the annual Kathy Noirfalise Memorial 2-Lady 18-Hole Scramble held Saturday, August 27 at the Wedgewood Country Club. The second place winner was June Gantner of Hollister and Sharon Alder of Mtn. Grove. Third place winner was Sherri Jungferman, and Teytam McClellan of Mtn. View.
A-Flight winners were, first place was June Swanson and Pam Smith of Mtn. View; second place was Jody Jarrett of Cabool, and Sandra Hawkins of Mtn. Grove; and third place was Julie Jackson of Mtn. Grove, and Linda Hancock of Norwood.
Hole prize winners included CTP Hole #2, Julie Lenardson of Mtn. Grove, 8 feet 11 inches; CTP Hole #5, Pam Smith, 12 inches; CTP 2nd Shot Hole #6, Jackie Smith of Houston and Teytam McClellan, 13 feet 11 inches; CTP Linda Benyo of Willow Springs, 10 feet 9 inches; and Longest Putt, Linda LeBaron of Mtn. Grove, 38 inches. Thank you to the sponsors of the hole prizes: Audrey Jett, Mtn. Grove;  Missy Faye's at Clea's, Cabool; Swick's Automotive, Mansfield; Black Kettle Inn, Cabool; and Michele's U-Lock U-Store, Willow Springs.
The Noirfalise family sponsored a $1,000 cash shootout with 19 ladies qualifying. Wendy Willard of Willow Springs won first place with a CTP of 20 feet 4 1/2 inches; second place Teytam McClellan with 22 feet 1 inch; and third place Jackie Smith with 23 feet 6 1/4 inches. The Noirfalise family also provided on course games including a longest drive with a wedge and a plastic ball. Cindy Summers of Mtn. View won that game. Wendy Willard won the pitching contest played with a whiffle ball and a pool of water.
The weather was beautiful, and warm, and the ladies enjoyed lunch in the dining hall with food provided by Wedgewood, Mary Auen, Jody Jarrett, Donna Jones and the Noirfalise family. Thank you to Jody Jarrett for the treat bags and a thank you to all that provided silent auction items.
