McWilliams earns spot in Missouri record books

West Plains Lady Zizzer #15 Ainsley McWilliams is only a Sophomore but she's earned a spot in the record books as she tied for the fourth most 3's in a quarter in the State of Missouri. McWilliams earned this honor during the West Plains vs. Ozark game on December 27 during the Pink and White Classic. The Lady Zizzers won 66-33 with McWilliams shooting seven 3-pointers, six of which were shot and scored in the first quarter. Head Coach Christy Cotter stated, "The nice thing about having multiple kids that can hit 3's is that this could happen to several on our team on any given night. Ainsley happened to catch fire in the first quarter of the game, and she hit six before they decided to switch defenses to slow her down."
