Post-season honors for West Plains Basketball

Three Zizzer boys and five Lady Zizzer basketball players were honored with All-Ozark Mountain Conference selection at the conclusion of the 2024-2025 season.

 

For the boys’ team, senior Clayton Robbins, was named to the All-OMC 2nd team. Jared Kraft, a junior, was selected to the All-OMC 3rd team. Ethan Tuma, a senior, was honored with a selection to the All-OMC Defensive Team. The Zizzer boys finished the season with a 12-15 record.

 

The Lady Zizzers were represented by five players on the All-Conference list, and three made the All-District team for Class 5 District 6.

 

Ainsley McWilliams, a freshman, was named to the All-OMC 1st team, and also the All-District team.

 

Shaylee Peterson, a junior, was selected for the All-OMC 2nd team, and also the All-District team.

 

Gillian Green, a freshman, led the team in scoring and was named to the All-OMC 2nd team. Green also made the All-District team.

 

Zoe Shrubb, a junior, was named to the All-OMC 3rd team.

 

Lucy Hafer, a junior, was honored with a selection to the All-OMC Defensive team.

 

The Lady Zizzers went 19-9 on the season and were District runner-ups.
