The annual 18 hole Edna Boyer Girls Golf Tournament was held on Monday, Sept. 23 at the West Plains Country Club. The following schools participated in the tournament; West Plains, Seymour, Mountain View-Liberty, Sparta, Mansfield, Bakersfield, and Lutie.

Dr. Ashley Cooley, Activities Director for West Plains Schools stated, "This tournament continues to grow in interest in the West Plains and surrounding communities. We are excited to provide area young ladies the opportunity to play the game they love, just as Mrs. Edna Boyer and her friends enjoyed playing. This is a great opportunity to continue to remember and honor Edna Boyer for her contributions to the Ladies' Day Golf program at West Plains Country Club. We remember and honor the following through the playing of this annual tournament; Edna Boyer, Dulcie Cochran, Josephine Saunders, Dorothy Gohn, Rhoda Luna, Alvada Modesette, Ruby Penn, Ruby Armstrong, Nadine Nimo, and Jean Christopher."

The Varsity Lady Zizzer Golf team finished the day as Tournament Champions and three Lady Zizzers medaled; Bailey Logue, Addison Finley, and Rose Reeves. Rose Reeves finished 5th overall.
