Above and Beyond award presented to Teresa Miley

Teresa Miley, retired secretary of Birch Tree Elementary and current secretary substitute at Mountain View-Birch Tree School District, was honored with the prestigious "Above and Beyond" award by Senator Bean and Representative Travis Smith. 

 

Miley has touched the lives of hundreds of families in the school district and is a true community hero. She leads an addiction recovery group in Birch Tree and participates in numerous community events. Miley’s compassion and leadership have made a lasting impact on all who know her. She is one of the most compassionate ladies you will ever meet, a true leader, and a hometown hero.
